WHAT WE DO...

Our Concept for Preservation Designs began over ten years ago at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Several students joined together to propose a consulting group specializing in the identification, documentation, preservation, and adaptive re-use of historic properties. That vision became a reality several years ago when Preservation Designs, LTD became an official woman-owned business registered with the State of Ohio.  Our goal is simpleā€”to help preserve the built environment through planning and innovative design solutions adapted to the needs of modern living.  We provide a wide variety of planning reports to help individuals, corporations, and governments identify, document, adapt, or add new construction to historic structures and/or districts. We also help secure compliance with local, state, and federal preservation regulations. Our founders are knowledgeable in the areas of History, Architectural History, Architecture, Historic Preservation, Urban Design, and Planning.
