WHAT WE DO...
Our Concept for Preservation Designs began over ten years ago at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Several students joined together to propose a consulting group specializing in the identification, documentation, preservation, and adaptive re-use of historic properties. That vision became a reality several years ago when Preservation Designs, LTD became an official woman-owned business registered with the State of Ohio. Our goal is simpleāto help preserve the built environment through planning and innovative design solutions adapted to the needs of modern living. We provide a wide variety of planning reports to help individuals, corporations, and governments identify, document, adapt, or add new construction to historic structures and/or districts. We also help secure compliance with local, state, and federal preservation regulations. Our founders are knowledgeable in the areas of History, Architectural History, Architecture, Historic Preservation, Urban Design, and Planning.
Our Mission is simple: we strive to be one of the best preservation consulting firms by helping our clients identify and preserve historic properties through innovative architectural design solutions. We serve our clients and our employees by means of hard work, high quality service delivery, honesty, and integrity throughout the planning and design process. We listen to our clients and solve their problems through sensitive design solutions balancing specific issues, needs, and budgets. Our cients are of the utmost importance since they reflect who we are as a firm. We value honesty, integrity, respect, and hard work as well as excellence in service in our client relationships.
